A visual ode to the Cape

This short film was shot on Super 8mm during a month-long stay in the Cape, made in the margins of a production. Exploring the old and new by shooting a decades old format and presenting it as a vertical film.

Edited to an archival acappella recording by Passion Drives Us, the film reflects on personal encounters and moments I gathered there.

Alongside the moving image, I captured series of 35mm photographs portraying everyday life.
