Free Our Voices is a global pro-bono campaign for Child Helpline International, created to raise awareness around the millions of children whose calls for help go unanswered each year. In many countries, so-called toll-free numbers are not truly free, placing a barrier between children and the help they need.
The campaign is grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which recognises every child’s right to be heard and protected. By generating a collective volume of voice signatures, the campaign aimed to encourage telecom providers to waive these costs and support access to help as a basic human right.
The initiative launched through two film executions: one teasing the idea, the other introducing the movement. Leading audiences to an interactive online petition where people could sign using their voice for a collective call for change.
