IF WE CAN SEE IT, WE CAN SAVE IT
Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor but support about 25% of all marine life. Millions of people also depend on them for food, income, and coastal protection. If the decline continues, reefs could disappear by 2050. “Coral in Focus,” features the scientists, engineers, and local conservationists working together to restore the world’s reefs.
In celebration of World Ocean Day, we unveiled “Coral in Focus” at the 2025 UN Ocean Conference. And since launch, 17 reef sites have been mapped, 10,700 square meters of reef restored, and the campaign has reached 100M live broadcast views, alongside 105 media stories and 60,000+ social impressions worldwide.
